Dr. Angela Costa opened the doors to her Lexington location at 138 E. Reynolds Road, Suite 101, in April, 2012. We see patients primarily on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays and offer a wide variety of eye care services.
Starting in 2024 our Lexington location will be closing for lunch on Mondays, Thursdays and Friday from 12pm-1pm.
Our providers are Dr. Angela F. Costa, OD and Dr. Maria Kirkpatrick, OD. Dr. Costa is the practice owner and primary doctor. Dr. Kirkpatrick has been working with us for years and is excited to take on a larger role in the practice. She is fluent in Spanish and takes fantastic care of her patients.

On November 1, 2021 Vision thru Design and Dr. Angela Costa, OD became the owners of the formerly Nickell & Steele Eye Center at 408 Main Street in West Liberty, Kentucky. Dr. Maria Kirkpatrick is our primary doctor at this location.
The office is open Monday – Friday and we primarily see patients on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The office now accepts a wider variety of insurance plans, including all Medicaid plans and most Medicare plans, as well as VSP, Eyemed, Spectera through United Healthcare, and Davis Vision.

Effective June 1, 2022 Dr. Costa and Dr. Kirkpatrick no longer see patients at the Walmart Vision Center in Paintsville. All of our patient records have come with us to the West Liberty office, and we would love to see you there!
